Whilst trying to find this deep connection between tradition and innovation, he is rightly considered as one of the last remaining talian gypsy artists in the current era. To a young student who once asked him where his atelier could be found, Mari responded with "take your canvas and go into nature, that is where you will find me".

In 2015, Mari founded The School of Fisiognomica Naturale which now has many followers on every continent.

Fraco Mari is a contemporary eclectic artist and poet. With his main focus on investigating human behaviour and natural environments, Maris inspiration can be found in the traditional naturalist Italian painters of the 15th century in conjunction with his own life experiences from around the world.
